Axis Music Academy is Michigan’s premier source for music education, in our 16th year of operation.  Axis Music Academy offers private music lessons in the Metro Detroit Area and is Michigan's premier choice for music lessons.  As one of four state licensed music schools and as the ONLY Apple Authorized Training Center in the state of Michigan,  no other music academies can compare with our credentials.

Axis Music Academy is essentially the only place in the state of Michigan to get this level of education.  If you expect the best, look no further. 

We offer the following basic program options:

• Private Lessons (1 on 1) OR Semi-Private Lessons (2-3 students)


• 30 or 60 minutes


• 1-2 sessions per week


• Starting as low as $12/session...




• Classes (3-12 students)


• 60-120 minutes each, including organized practice


• 1 session per week


• Adult Guitar, Music Discovery, Vocal Performance for Girls, Drum Line Class


• Recording Courses

MISSION STATEMENT

BRIEF HISTORY

In 2004, an academy was opened in Canton, Michigan, which houses Axis Music Institute, Michigan’s first and only licensed and certified trade school for music. Expansion in Southfield in 2010-2011 included a state-of-the-art recording studio, an even larger classroom and live stage, new technology and resources, and the introduction of several exciting new programs to your growing menu of options.!

We developed a modern, proprietary method to teach you everything you need to know to become a great musician. Our primary goal is to help you reach your own goals.
