From a very young age children are exposed to music on many levels. Music is a form of communication and expression that children have learned over the decades from banging on pots and pans in the kitchen, traditional nursery rhymes to modern day children’s musicals and sing-a-longs. At Axis Music Academy, students learn the fundamental concepts of music, theory, reading, vocabulary, technique AND most of all have TONS of FUN along the way.

Axis Music Foundation is a non profit foundation founded in the Spring of 2012 with the intention of delivering music education, instruments and technology to families and schools that have been suffering from the extensive cutbacks that music and the arts have endured over the years.

As a family-owned and -operated organization, Axis Music is rooted in the mission and guiding principles established by its founder, John Antone. Together with the staff and knowledgeable instructors, the company boldly and successfully leads the oft-overlooked music education industry in terms of technical innovation, program diversity and quality for every one of its students.

OUR MISSION

 
Inspire creativity, joy, communication, artistic expression, personal achieve- ment and enlightened mentoring to underprivileged children and schools through the art of music.

OUR GOAL

To provide musical education programs, instruments and the highest level of instruction to children of all ages. Some of the participants include schools, early child development centers, places of worship and community centers, children with learning disabilities and the terminally ill. This is achieved by setting the highest standards for musical instruction and by the constant dedication to improvement within the community.

Axis Music Foundation provides each child the opportunity to showcase their talents at musical venues and community events around the Metro Detroit Area and abroad. We teach the kids to ROCK - the right way!

Axis Music Foundation is a scholarship, instrument and technology fund that is fully tax deductible. Contributors will see how their contributions are being used in the form of programs, instruments and technology and will receive a certificate confirming their generous contributions. Contributors will be listed as a sponsor or contributor on our website.
